Beau

Beau came from a cream line I had admired for years for its moderate heads, and he is the only male here who is not related to Josie, which is a large part of why I went and got him. He is a clear, even cream and the calmest dog I have lived with. Most of his photos show him asleep because that is mostly what he does, usually against Belle. He graded 0 on his respiratory function exam, his patellas and heart are normal, and his hips came back OFA Good, which is uncommon enough in this breed that I framed the certificate. His spine films show one mild hemivertebra in the mid-thoracic spine with no narrowing of the canal, so I only breed him to bitches with clean thoracic films. His nose is lighter than I would like. The standard allows that in a cream and does not love it, and neither do I, so I pair him with bitches whose pigment is black. Beau carries one copy of CMR1 and is only bred to clear bitches.
